Executive Team

Mr. J. Whitehead, Co-Founder/Executive Director, COO


Prior to co-founding EnergyPro Analytics, Mr. Whitehead was part of the Energy and Carbon Management division with Pace Global, A Siemens Business, where he managed the Energy Procurement team. Mr. Whitehead specializes in supply strategy and transactions and his knowledge of markets including, electricity, natural gas, and fuel oil supports clients and program managers in developing strategic plans and the execution of energy procurements for both commercial and industrial facilities. As manager of a Procurement team with an international presence, Mr. Whitehead has experience managing the procurement of power and natural gas supply contracts in the United States, Canada, and Europe. He also specializes in price leveraging for large aggregation procurements.  He worked with commodity and transportation suppliers in the marketplace as well as lead negotiations for both short-term and long-term supply contracts. Mr. Whitehead also has extensive experience with budget planning, asset management, and contract negotiation for several fortune 500 companies.

Mr. Whitehead earned his B.S. degree in Decision Science and Management Information Systems, with a minor in Information Technology from George Mason University.

 

Mr. D. Martin, Co-Founder/Executive Director, CIO  

Mr. Martin is an IT Project Manager whom has provided secure data collection and technical support for a variety of commercial, government, and international clients for over 15 years. Mr. Martin excels at building customer relationships while focusing on technical solutions to address business needs. Prior to co-founding EnergyPro Analytics, he held dual roles including Associate Energy Manager, where he was responsible for managing high profile client relationships, contract negotiations, demand/load response analysis, commodity procurement strategies and identifying energy market opportunities consistent with client objectives. As the Meter Data Management project lead, Mr. Martin provided network administration, project management, hardware/software configuration and network analysis for a multi node network farm for numerous Fortune 500 companies. Mr. Martin has also served as Project Manager for other international consulting firms providing engineering support and full software development life cycle (SDLC) of proprietary data acquisition software packages for major utility companies and government agencies.  

Mr. Martin has also owned a successful technology firm for several years, providing managed consulting services for small to mid-size businesses. Mr. Martin studied International Business at George Mason University and is a PMI certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
